Wales Freelance Taskforce - Original Member

The Wales Freelance Taskforce was a subdivision of the Fuel Freelance Taskforce, set up in June 2020 to gice freelancers a voice during the closure of the industry due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Wales Freelance Taskforce was made up of 13 Welsh/Wales-based freelancers, sponsored by 9 different companies; myself being sponsored by Taking Flight Theatre.

The aim was to reach out to freelancers across theatre and dance. To listen and action the collective thoughts and wishes of all freelancers in the sector.

I was focused on representing both Deaf & disabled and backstage freelancers. As part of my role I was engaged in conversations with freelancers, companies, unions, arts councils and DCMS.
